Important: Filipina Meet may send both machine‑generated (automated) messages and messages written by staff. Both are covered by this policy.

  • Product & feature updates: important website/app announcements, changes to terms or policies, feature rollouts, downtime/maintenance.

  • We present separate, per‑channel opt‑ins (e.g., Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Viber). These are unchecked by default.

We store proof of consent (timestamp, channel, source, and text shown) to help resolve any issues.

Frequency varies based on your activity and preferences (typically 0–4 per month per marketing channel; service notifications may occur as needed).

Charges: Standard messaging and data rates may apply for SMS and data‑based channels (WhatsApp/Viber).

6) How to Opt Out or Manage Preferences

You can opt out at any time:

  • SMS: Reply STOP to end messages; HELP for help.
  • WhatsApp: Reply stop or use WhatsApp's settings to block/opt out.
  • Viber: Reply stop or use Viber's settings to block/opt out.
  • Email: Click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
  • In‑app/Push: Change your notification preferences on your device and in Notification Settings.

We process opt‑outs promptly. Some essential service messages (e.g., security alerts, legal notices) may still be sent if necessary to operate the service.

7) Manual vs. Automated Messages

Whether a message is automated (e.g., a system alert) or sent by a staff member (e.g., a tailored follow‑up), it will follow your channel preferences and this policy. Manual/high‑touch outreach is used sparingly and aligned to your selected purposes.

8) How We Use Your Number & Contact Details

  • We use your contact details only for the channels and purposes you select.
  • We do not sell your phone number or email address.
